Broken bones and fractures can cause dislocations.
An orthopedic surgeon will call on Saturdays from 6:30 a.m. to end at 7 a.m. next day. The goal of my call day is to see my patients, write notes, and then meet with the team members to talk about what procedures are needed. Following that, I’ll go into the operating room and grab my journal.
The schedule includes visiting patients in the emergency department. The hospital is open throughout the day.
Just finished bringing together patients around 7:30 am and recorded notes. Then, it was time to dress to treat the fractured in the thigh bone of the femur. It is imperative to sterilize our hands first , by washing them until the elbow.
By 3:00 p.m. by 3:00 pm, the matter must be closed by 3:00 p.m. The usual practice is to keep the pager on me throughout my shift. This allows me to keep track of all patients who come into the emergency department as well as those with injuries, dislocated objects, or broken bones.
To get back and sleep, I’ll make my notes. 2ianmscynr.
